From Marty McElligott of S. American Candy Stick:
We won our first post season game against Jakey and then went on to lose a close one to our old nemesis, Oxymoron. Although not formally on our roster(she was on the Transplants), Jen Goetz played a lot of games for S. American Candy Stick.

From Sam Stein of Frick:
This was the third straight year that Allderdice H.S. alumni made up the majority of both the Frick and Ringers rosters. In general, we dominated the series and again took care of the Ringers in both regular season games that summer. At the finals tournament, both our teams were eliminated in the first round, so we decided to play an end of summer grudge match game. Though the game didn't count for the tourney, both teams really wanted it. The Ringers pulled out a close win after we had about ?five? possessions over two points on which we could have won it. That turned out to be the last of the "classic" Ringers vs. Frick battles. So even though Frick owned the series, the Ringers had the last laugh.

From David Lionetti of Blade:
Most of us thought that Beagley would run away with this game. The Throbbers played an incredible game with very few errors. One of the highlights of the game came on a Throbbers pull. Evan Schmidt sends of a great high arching pull. As the Throbbers start to sprint down to cover, Beagley players state they did not raise their hands, indicating readiness for the point to start. While most of the Throbbers let up to head back to their line, Evan continues to sprint down for no particular reason. At the last moment he lays out and catches his own pull about a foot off the ground to a HUGE ovation from the fans. Who knows, maybe this is what fired his team up for the victory.
