Directions to fields at Frick Park

Lower Frick Park Field

The lower frick park field is not usually used for league play. It has primarily been used for club team practices, pick-up, and on rare occasions some league play make-up games.

Directions

1. From Oakland, take Forbes Ave. away from downtown.
2. Turn Right onto Braddock Ave.
3. You'll pass Ryan's Pub on your left and Frick park playground, baseball diamonds, and tennis courts on your right.
4. Turn Right at the first light, W. Hutchinson Ave.
5. Turn Right onto Lancaster Ave. (I think it's the fourth stop sign).
6. You'll pass a few houses on your right and then bear left through an entrance into the park.
7. Continue down the hill (drive slow! There are trails that cross the road)
8. At the bottom of the hill continue straight through some parking areas and you'll reach a turn around loop thing. The field is just beyond the loop.

1. From 376, take exit 7, "Edgewood/Swissvale"
2. Get onto Braddock Ave. towards regent square (north)
3. Continue up hill and through a few lights.
4. Turn Left on W. Hutchinson Ave.
5. Continue from #5 above.
