From David Lionetti, Yinzers:
We (Yinzers) went 0-8 and lost to Throbbers in the first round of the playoffs. Andy Hardy is the Andy of Dave and Andy's Ice Cream!

From Todd Williams, Throbbers:
This was the year of the controversial finals between The Throbbers and Catch 22 (Berger's team). There was a rule that you had to play in so many games to be eligible for the finals. Lance Williams and Frank Schneider (Throbbers) had played in games early in the summer, then left town for jobs. They came back for the finals, and no one really knew what the rule was (how many games one had to play to be eligible). It was decided that the members of Catch 22 would vote on Lance and Frank. They voted "no, not eligible" in a close vote by all team members. The Throbbers had decided (previously to the vote) that if Catch voted no, they would stand united and forfeit the finals under protest. This is what happened. The fans were pissed. So we decides to play an unofficial final, in which The Throbbers won. I'm not sure what is on the Championship Trophy regarding this year, if it even still exists. Mike Martin was on that Catch 22 team, and he voted yes. Thanks Mike.
