The semis between T-1 Bee-0 and Choosy Mothers was a great game. I don't think either team led by more than a point or two throughout the entire game. It was great to see Fish and Sam Bellin, who had led the Swine to so many victories in the past battle it out. At one point during the game while T1B0 was working it up the field, there was a bit of "side-line intervention" Keith Wertman attempted a pass up the line to Fish (or it might have been the other way around) The pass traveled out of bounds and before it had the chance to even think about coming back in, Pat Garrett, drunk, and not really paying attention to the game, reaches out and catches the pass. Of course, in all fairness, the disc went back to the thrower; but we all know, despite your insistence Keith, that pass was not coming back in :)

The luck of our drafting that year was so absurd I'm gonna to look back at the roster in a few years and just chuckle. Even the people who we picked because Kristen thought their names made them sound cute turned out good. Our youth and constant early season hucking led to teams zoning us all season, and was our downfall in the end. Facing a man defense in the semis and finals for first time in over a month left us confused and forgetting to utilize ringer Geoff Sheau's skills as a deep. Silver Naked Child wore us out in the semis on a hot day involving lots of cramping injury subs, and Choosy Mothers spanked us in the finals with Sam and Andy's playoff experience, Phil Katz's defense, and Megan Zdancewic's skills showcase. I still want a rematch ;)
