Pittsburgh High School Ultimate League

PHUL is a High School Ultimate Frisbee League set up for those schools in the surrounding areas that have teams and wish to compete in an organized fashion. PHUL exists solely to improve enjoyment and growth of High School Ultimate and is run by a number of captains for the betterment of the players and their teams.

Regarding the setup of the website:
  • This page will contain general links and info, as well as Team Histories. Please contact the webmaster if you would like to submit a team history
  • The PHUL Spring 2008 league page will be the resource for up to date league results and team rosters.
  • The B-Board will be the most up to date source of news and discussion, with the PHUL Discussion area used to general discussion, and the private PHUL Chat Board reserved for off-topic posts and general chatter. Most teams have already done so, but private team fourms should be created for team communication and direct communication with the league's administration.
  • There are tons of plans (and limited free time available) to improve this site, but suggestions are always taken.

About PHUL: Founded in the spring of 2001, The Pittsburgh High School Ultimate League, or PHUL, acts as Western Pennsylvania's organizing body for High School Ultimate Frisbee. PHUL (pronounced "pull") has tripled in size in 4 years and is currently working to foster the growth of its multiple geographic divisions. High School students learn to balance the unique spirit of the game and intense competition during their 10 regular season games and throughout play-offs which crown the league champion in mid May each year.
