Call for bids

We'll be accepting bids this year for 16 teams.

Games will start on 9 January and continue through the end of February. They will be held Fridays starting from 10:30 and Saturdays starting from 9:35pm, except for the first Saturday when they will start at 8:40. Dates are January 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30; February 6, 7, 13, 14, 21. Finals will be held 27-28 February.

Complete bids must include:
- Team Name
- Contact Info (name, phone number, email address)
- Complete Roster* (also sent to me via email or private message)
- $550 check made out to CPU (team name on check, 1 check per team per request of treasurer)
- conflicts your team may have (b/c of tournaments, winter break, etc)

*A roster must have at least 4 players of each gender.

Announcing Winter League 2009

First, if you've been holding your breath since October, you should breathe again. Winter League is going to happen starting the week of January 9th, 2009. Feel free to use a paper bag if necessary.

Second, this is not yet the call for bids. If you're skimming this post for bidding information. Don't worry, you are not alone. The actual call for bids will go out by next weekend.

Third, the schedule is not yet finalized. If there are any Friday or Saturday nights in January or February that pose a scheduling conflict, post the date along with the reason. Whining about conflicts in a month will receive sympathy, but no accommodations.

Finally, this announcement is tentative and details are subject to change on the whims of the commissioners.
