Hello members of the Pittsburgh Ultimate Community! We have an extra night of field space available for use at the PISA fields, so we're running a one night hat tournament. Sign-ups will be FREE for Winter League participants. The cost of the hat tournament will be just $10 for non-Winter League players. Every player will play 3 games in a round robin format.

Round 2: 12:10 AM
Round 3: 12:50 AM
Games will have a 4-2 male-female ratio. We will follow the gameplay rules for Winter League.
Members of the winning team will receive their choice of a free water bottle or drawstring backpack!!!

Congratulations to the Hampton High School Boys Ultimate Team for finishing in first place in the 2012 PHUL Winter League, defeating Mt. Lebanon in the championship game, 10-7.
The 4 semi-finalist teams all had very strong seasons, with each of the 4 playing each other multiple times with many one-point games. Both of the semi-final games were won on universe point: Mt. Lebanon over Pine-Richland 12-11 and Hampton over Fox Chapel 10-9.

Captains and Coaches Meeting
This meeting will be the only meeting for the 2012 captains and coaches to meet this season and it is mandatory that every team’s captain(s) and coach(es) attend. This meeting will be held Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 at the Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh’s campus. We will meet in Room 232 from 12:30 to 2:30pm.
The meeting will include:
-Rules changes for the 2012 season
-Time for captains to schedule games with appropriate opponents
-Overview of the new registration process
-Regional break-ups and Regular Season game structure
-Discussion of the Coaches Code of Conduct and other coaching requirements
If you are unable to attend, please send another team representative in your place.
