Pittsburgh's Oakland Ultimate finished 12th out of 16 teams at the USAU Club Championships this past weekend as the first Pittsburgh-based Open team to attend the Championships in over 20 years.  Oakland notched wins vs. SubZero (Minneapolis) and Tanasi (Nashville) during power pools on Friday to get into the 9-12 bracket, where they fell to Truck Stop (DC/Baltimore) and Johnny Bravo (Boulder, CO).

Also, congrats to Pittsburgh native Tommy Hendrickson for winning the Mixed Championship with Blackbird (Bay Area).

Here are some awesome PHOTOS from the day, taken by Steve Scoville, the coach of Brashear HS. You can tell it was a misty morning!
